Sincere thanks to our WJC donors for making the Project Ezra Passover Funds Drive such a success. Your generosity enabled us to exceed our goal! Todah Rabah.

On June 23, WJC will host the Project Ezra Luncheon. The Luncheon is a Jewish Peoplehood event where the WJC community welcomes elders from Project Ezra on the Lower East Side. The elders will join us for a day of community, including music, dancing, singing, schmoozing, and a beautiful kosher lunch served by our volunteers.

The help and enthusiasm of our wonderful WJC Community is what makes this event so special. Please volunteer for one or more of the shifts below to welcome, schmooze, set up, serve, and/ or clean up. You will enjoy the day as much as our guests!

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS:

1ST SHIFT, 9am to 11am: clean kitchen; prepare food trolleys; set tables; set up coffee station; warm up food.
2ND SHIFT, 11am to 1pm: meet and escort elders from bus to bathrooms and gymnasium; plate and serve food; socialize with elders.
3RD SHIFT, 1pm to 2:30pm: serve food; socialize with elders; escort elders back to buses; clean up.
